Working hand-in-hand with rural families and individuals to bring lasting social change.
At Nirmala Jaiprakash Welfare Foundation (NJWF), we believe that true progress happens when communities are empowered to create change for themselves. Our work focuses on holistic development — integrating education, healthcare, livelihood, and environmental sustainability. Each project is planned with a people-first approach, ensuring that every initiative leads to tangible, measurable, and sustainable outcomes.

The Foundation's programs are strategically designed to target the root causes of poverty and social exclusion. Below are our primary domains of work:
Why it matters
We help rural families become self-reliant by providing vocational training, promoting self-help groups (SHGs), and supporting small-scale entrepreneurship. Programs include agricultural skill-building, financial literacy sessions, and capacity development for farmers and rural artisans.
Empowering women and children is central to our mission. We run awareness drives, health checkups, nutritional support programs, and educational initiatives for girl children. Our goal is to ensure gender equality, safety, and improved quality of life for women and children in underserved areas.
Education is the most powerful tool for transformation. We run learning centers, distribute school kits, and offer vocational training in computer literacy, tailoring, and soft skills. The Foundation also partners with local institutions to promote adult education and youth employability.
Health is a human right. NJWF organizes free medical camps, blood donation drives, and hygiene awareness programs across villages. We also run health counseling sessions for women, vaccination awareness drives, and clean water initiatives in rural areas.
Sustainable living is key to future progress. We conduct tree plantation drives, waste management campaigns, and clean village programs. NJWF also encourages renewable energy adoption and climate awareness at the grassroots level.
During times of natural calamities, our volunteers and local partners provide emergency relief, shelter, and rehabilitation to affected families. We also focus on post-disaster recovery through rebuilding homes, distributing essentials, and offering emotional support.
Our approach combines community participation, prior assessment, integrated management, and measurable outcomes. Each initiative undergoes the following stages:
Participatory planning, transparent governance, and measurable impact define every stage of our programme lifecycle.
Understanding local needs through participatory dialogue.
Identifying root causes and prioritizing interventions.
Executing projects with transparency and stakeholder involvement.
Ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
“We don't just deliver services; we build systems of empowerment that last.”
Every program of NJWF is designed in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our initiatives contribute directly to:
